Yamaha 125cc scooter (Nozza Grande) launching soon

Yamaha is gearing up to launch their new 125cc scooter in the Indian market. The unveil of this scooter will happen at the 208 Auto Expo next week. This new scooter will be based on the Nozza Grande 125cc, which has been launched in Indonesia. The Nozza Grande 125 is a stylish and fashionable scooter. It will be positioned above the Fascino in India. This will be the first 1255cc scooter for Yamaha. It will directly compete with the Suzuki Access 125 and Vespa 125. The Honda Activa 125 and the Grazia will be other competitors.

Yamaha will also be showcasing the R15 V3 also. This is one of the bikes with high expectations and Yamaha fans have been waiting for this. Yamaha will be launching more vehicles this year.

It will be priced higher than the Yamaha Fascino. However, it will be lower than Vespa 125 and Yamaha would look at capturing a high market share in this growing segment.

The Yamaha 125cc Scooter will be based on the Nozza Grande. There will a few changes made to this scooter for the Indian market. Yamaha 125cc Scooter Nozza Grande Engine

The Yamaha 125cc scooter will get a new 125cc engine. It will be a single-cylinder, twin valve, SOHC engine and will also have fuel injection, in all likelihood. This engine will be mated to a belt driven automatic transmission. It will be a powerful scooter and have a power output of 8.2bhp at 6,500rpm and a torque of 9.7Nm at 5,000rpm. The scooter is expected to be refined and also set new benchmarks in the segment.
